SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made due to limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 315.00-325.00; 500-600 lbs 300.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 300.00-315.00; 500-600 lbs 270.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 245.00-260.00, 500-600 lbs 
245.00-247.50. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 125.00-136.00; Boners 
80-85% lean 110.00-140.00; High Dressing none reported; Lean 85-90% lean 
107.00-126.00; Lean Low Dressing 90.00-114.00. Slaughter bulls: Average 
Dressing 1370-2260 lbs 133.00-153.00; High Dressing none reported; Low

   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 0.68 higher at 67.75. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 56.58; 450-500 lbs 62.38; 500-550 lbs 63.51.
   SC Grain on Thursday. Corn was 3 to 4 cents lower; elevator bids 
3.82-4.87, processor bids 4.87-4.92. Soybeans were 15 cents lower; 
elevator bids 9.99-10.94, processor bids 11.79, and export 11.84. Wheat 
bids were steady to 3 cents lower; elevator bids 4.97.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.72
lower at 77.36.  
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
